I found this to be a very good looking book with great pictures and illustrations. I do not think that I learned anything new in this book but it did reinforce what I already knew. What I did like is that this book showed proper technique on how to do the exercises and what muscle groups were engaged in the exercise(s). The book also touched on muscle groups and the roles they play in our body. There was also a small section on body types and the best way to train for them. I think this would be a great book for a beginner to execise and to have on hand to use as a guide. The illustraions, as stated, are great and are helpful in showing proper technique.
