Received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Eve Duncan and Joe Quinn are in danger again. When will these two have a normal life? In this installment, Eve and Joe are attempting to protect Cara Delaney, a young violin player whose life is in mortal danger (is there ever any other kind of danger?). They travel to Scotland where Eve’s adopted daughter is currently looking for hidden treasure (is there any other kind?). There they have to stay smarter than those hunting Cara and Eve.

For me, this book was okay not great. I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it either. There is some suspense, but you know who the bad guys are from the start. It wasn’t a nail biter or a page turner for me. There was some suspense but I found it to be minimal. I think die hard Johansen fans will enjoy this book. I find I like a little more mystery.
